We can’t talk about the beautiful places in Visayas without mentioning Kalanggaman Island, a small paradise located in Palompon, Leyte. The island is fast-becoming a top tourist destination in the country. However, its size, which is only 753 meters long, is preventing the local government from welcoming everyone who wants to experience similar magical moments that people who have been to the place are talking about. The island can accommodate only a limited number of tourists a day. Due to lack of comfortable accommodation and commercial establishment on the island, visitors are advised to bring their own supplies including sleeping tent, food, cleaning, and potable water.
